As opposed to my regular process of designing through manufacturing, I approached this assignment by coming up with a concept through ideation sketches and refining the idea through modeling with Solidworks. Once I arrived at a point where I was happy with the design I went into the wood shop to implement the idea; I feel that more time is needed to perfect the kerfings of the piece.
