Amal Flower Kay
As a multi-disciplinary artist and curator, my work aims to bridge the gaps between traditional documentary and narrative storytelling to better communicate the experiences and stories of my subjects. Through photography, installation, and collaboration, I translate the multifaceted backgrounds of different cultures and people into a digestible format accessible to all viewers. I am deeply committed to the practice of art as an impetus for social change and understanding, believing it to be one of the best approaches to starting difficult, but important, conversations.
