For this project, I designed a mask for Alisa specifically for the radioactive pollution in the water system in her country. To create the blue base, I used blueberry and added baking soda as a dye. The yellow color comes from the turmeric dye with lemon juice and the writing is derived from boiling coffee until it becomes a pasty consistency. The mask looks really beautiful right after dying but the color faded a bit after two days. I hope I can learn a technique to preserve the color better.
