Waste=Food
In the beginning, I don’t understand why the topic is Waste=Food. How to turn waste into food? It’s a question that make me think through the video. After I watched the video, finally understand why waste=food. In the video, lots of factories are in China, they have made tons of product each day. It’s because that, they have lots of materials left over. If just throw them out, it will just cost environment problem. And they found out a perfect idea to solve this problem. It is “Waste=Food”. They used second hand dyed materials turned into made fabric felt. And those sustainable felt will sell it to strawberries farm. Those felts are become a cover for those fresh strawberries. This is a great way to make waste into food.
And another reading is “The Secret Lives of Everyday Things” by John C.Ryan and Alan Thein Durning. This small book is explores about environmentally life stuff and back to originals. Cause nowadays, everyday lives has very complicated energy-intensive and make the environment damaging. Everything is back to a raw materials.
