Drawing and Imaging

For this project we created a figure drawing and a still life drawing with vine charcoal on drawing paper.

Then in Photoshop we combined the two drawings together, overlapping them to form clean shapes with the negative space.

After we traced the shapes with the pen tool in illustrator and then collaged the shapes together to create 2 compositions: one with a white figure on a black background and one in which the figure and background were ambiguous.
