I did something really stupid. I was afraid that I would not be able to finish this before the semester ends, so I started this project right after I got the kit. However, it’s not yet the time my apartment starts providing heater…

A thin layer has been formed
The beginning on this week was cold, but it turned warm on Friday. I moved the box into kitchen, the warmest place in the apartment.

It seems like the layer is getting thicker.

The smell is… I don’t know how to describe it. The color is getting darker, but I don’t think the layer grows thicker. The speed is slowing down.

I was about to take it out.
There were something like seeweeds attach the leather.
I washed it with dish soap for several times.
Reflection:
The whole propose went pretty good, but the cleaning parts was horrible. The leather dried and lost a lot of water. It still smells like apple cider.
