Practical, school-need dressing is always my priority. I spent most of the time every weekday staying at school taking classes. Even the time I stay at home, I am either doing homework or hesitating to do the homework for most of the time. Therefore, I only wear very basic garments that are relatively comfortable. I thought that I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about what to wear for the other day, but surprisingly I haven’t worn the same clothes as the day before for even once. Maybe because I could only remember the garment I wore yesterday, so I could avoid wearing the same thing for consecutive two days. But I have worn the same pair of shoes for three days. Most of my garments are grey or navy. My main wardrobe only has two levels, two poles. I hang all my garments on the hangers. The grey ones, the lighter color ones, and long ones go to the top pole. The navy ones and dark color ones go to the bottom pole. During the week of my dress practice log, the weather changed dramatically. I experienced an extremely sudden temperature dropping. And I’ve learned that how temperature influence my dressing. When I know it would cold, the only thing I considered is that I must wear the warmest jacket. The relationship between clothing and my body should have been more than keeping me warm. However, after coming to New York, the coldness conquered my mind. It became just garment, not fashion to me anymore.
