Concept: Wear a full suit to school.

8:05am- Before even leaving my dorm, as I’m tying my tie in the mirror, my roommate looks at me and says “What do you have a job interview or something today?” I just replied “This is art school, man.”

8:20am- Walking through the East Village to school, I pass by many middle aged men, assumingely headed to work. A few of them eye me for a second, almost with a sense of respect, before taking note the nose piercing and the high top Vans.

8:25am- Walking to school like this almost makes me feel as if i should be walking to my office job in midtown, rather than to drawing class at art school.

8:45am- I stand up in mid-conversation with a friend at the UC. He says, “I feel like you’re about to tell me why I should vote for you or something.”

9:05am- Walking in the room, I could feel everyone in drawing and imaging looking at me questioningly like “Why the hell is the kid always in band shirts and H&M sweaters wearing a full suit to this 9am?”

11:50am- I feel like this outfit really sticks out at art school, especially, where everyone attempts to stand out with outlandish and eccentric outfits.

12:10pm- Initial comments from friends in Time class include “Why do you look so prepared…for everything.” and “You look like you could sue me.”
