WK 3
Image, form, and function
* Talk about why you selected to explore the forms you chose
The name of the product I chose is Moliere, ink love because the smell of the forest has a feeling of ink flow. On the form of the bottle, I decided to explore some combinations of curves and regular shapes. The design uses the head of a pen to express the theme and design language.
* Speak about why you selected to explore the graphics you are developing
I want the shape of the trees combined with the soft curves to express the forest theme and even the smell of this product. Use colors close to the nature of the forest, such as black and white and blue-green.
* How do your structure and form work together?
The irregular liquid form reflects the softness of nature and the mysterious atmosphere in the forest. The cap in the shape of a pen head hangs on the round bottle, like a forest pen writing its mysterious seclusion.
* What revisions or directions would you like to explore?
I think it is possible to combine various ideas on the design drawings and then get a more explicit visual language.
The ideal material is walnut wood. In terms of tree species, soft woods generally have relatively plain textures, while hard woods have rich and colorful textures. Walnut Walnut with huge stumps can produce colorful board surface effects, such as spiral, scaly, bird’s eye, grape shape and so on. The dark wood decoration has a solemn effect. The color of the pine tree is too light to match the dark theme color palette.
