Brandon Morris is my name and I created this piece. This shirt is part of a collection of hand painted dress shirts. With my work I go under the alias Ungepatchka, which is a yiddish term for overly decorated.
The art piece is taken from an old penthouse magazine ad. I chose this particular ad because I liked how the model was positioned.
I used acrylic paint to create the woman. In the final product, my intention was for the woman to look soft. I watered down the paint to make it look more like watercolor.
I painted the woman by hand onto the shirt.
This is the final product. The watered down acrylic bleeds into the shirt rather than sitting on top of it. The woman’s face is distorted to add an ominous feel.
