I believe that my motif is a great symbol for the topic. I’ve always loved the idea that a great offense is the best defense. In this case, I have designed a very tooth-like symbol. While simple in form, this structure appears wide enough to offer protection, but sharp enough to attack if needed. Additionally, the structure seems like it could very easily be tessellated and repeated into an armor like structure. I will likely try to incorporate this symbol into the pattern collection in such a way that it comes across as very aggressive structure. I will utilize color in a garish manner that almost attacks the eye of the viewer. I would also like to use this shape to inform some accessories to the collection.
