In this assignment, our professor assigned us to come up with soundscapes of our selected room at a past time. This assignment pushes us to raise our awareness of our surroundings as a constructed environment made from sound and to teach ourselves a new software where we can edit our recorded audio.
The Process
In this assignment, I used stock audios to call vintage sounds. I downloaded them onto my computer. Then, I transferred them to Adobe Audition to layer and mix them. After that, I exported my multitrack session, and with the help of our professor’s tutorial, I managed to upload my file to SoundCloud as a private song.
