For my monument project, I decided on doing a structure that looks like rock stacks one would see when hiking on a trail. I decided to create an abstract wood structure that would go with it. The abstract cube is to symbolize the hectic nature of city life while the rocks represent serenity and peace. I wanted to place this in the metro which is the most busy part of any city as an implement that could give the people a moment of calm.
