Film:
For my first prototype I wanted to make a collage of my film photographs. I wanted to showcase both my prints and the negatives of my film. for this prototype I used my contact sheets to replace my negatives. on the negatives I would have a small note or a written memory that would go along with the some pictures of the contact sheets. I enjoyed collecting memories through my camera and working with film makes it a little bit more personal, specially when you make your own prints, and got through the process of development. My other inspiration was my own photography journal that I made last year in my IS1. class. It’s a book of all the images I’ve taken with the film camera and dislikes the outcome, therefore I wanted to recreate more art on top of it.
