Who is Ching Lan?

  Ching Lan isn’t merely a Parsons student trying to make it big in New York City. Her style of narration can be credited to her upbringing over the years. She blends both worlds; her current abode in New York and her roots back in Taipei. Ching was born in Taipei on November 5th, 1996 but she was raised in Malaysia until she was six-years old. Then, her family packed her bags and moved to South Africa; once the year was up her family finally decided to move to the states.

  There she lived out her days as a struggling youth trying to make sense of it all—was she suppose to adopt the American way or stay true to her traditional Taiwanese ways?
