Dada Poems

Initial Stages

Creative exercise:

My class did an exercise where we had to look for two paragraphs in a magazine and then transpose the nouns to create a new “story.” Also Barbara gave use the word “Blind” and told us to visual show the word. Honestly, I had trouble during this project and grasping the concept of showing not telling. That might be one of my weaknesses because when I was trying to illustrate the word blind all I could think about drawing was using the word to create a form that represented blindness. But what Barbara was looking for was more like the 3rd image I drew. The word blind was lightly drawn so it can be barely seen.
