Multiple perspective project (Cultural memory)

Below attached are the research, pictures of the installation and the two wall text we created as a group (I made the black one but we compromised to the red one, I am just including it here if that’s going to help)

Food desert is a term used to describe communities with limited access to healthy foods such as vegetables, meats, dairy products, and fruits. Those who live in food deserts with low income who can only have access to processed food are often in high level of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Speaking statistically, “the United States Department of Agriculture reports that about 23.5 million Americans currently live in food deserts, including 6.5 million children,” and African Americans contributes a lot to this number.
