Bridge Project 1: Visual Backpack & Letter to Myself

The bag that I take with me through time travels have the words “Time Travel” on it so that I can easily separate it from my other bags. The black squares in the middle represent clocks, which is related to time as well.

This is a flyer of the art studio that I used to be in, and it is the thing that I want to give to myself in the past. I am not very confident of my drawing skills now, thus I want to give this flyer to myself in the past so that I can start drawing earlier and have better skills when I am in Parsons.

The Ukelele is the thing that I need now. I used to play guitar a lot and I was in a band, therefore guitar was an essential element in my daily life. Unfortunately, due to limitations of the airline, I was not able to bring it here. Thus I want to have a ukelele, the smaller version of a guitar with only four strings, as a substitute for my guitar. Since it has a smaller size, I am able to carry it with me when I am traveling.

This wooden cat head represents my future. I always want to have a cat in my home, and it is a representation of my wish. Because I cannot afford to have a pet now, it also becomes a goal that I want to achieve in the future: to earn enough money for having a cat.

This is the letter to myself in the age of 15.
