- She used fashion drawings to show her ideas. She drew a sapphire blue dress with silver outline decorating it. For this art piece, I noticed the hollow out, the transparency of the dress the hairstyle, the color, and the shape.
- I like this piece because I think using a dress to represent an idea is something that I wasn’t thinking about when doing the assignment. Also, the dress is pretty so it makes me love it even more.
- In the artist statement, she mentioned that the choice of having the silver lines is to make the dresses look cohesive as a group and also because it comes from the reflection of a sculpture in the night time. The color theme is also matching the original color of it. I think the reasons for her to choose the silver and the color theme are both representational and interesting. The concept of her artwork is really compelling to me.
