Bridge 2: Artist Statement

The initial image I chose was a Coca-Cola advertisement on a delivery truck. In the one I designed for Instagram and Facebook, there is only a close shot and a question: “Feeling thirsty?” I want the audience to focus on the tastiness of the drink and the thirst they have when seeing the ad, therefore willing to buy bottles of coke. In the one for Coke Life, I chose to focus on the healthy and natural ingredients it contains. I use green as the main color because it’s easy to relate the color green to nature. The one for Coke Plus is mainly about its ability to absorb fat in human body. I chose to use photos of cats instead of human’s so that I won’t create some kind of discrimination without noticing. Also, I think cute cats are more attractive toward people.
