- What was new to you in IS2?/ what is one thing that you learned that was new to you on 2/1/18?
- To study something about philosophy is truly new to me. Before that class, I’ve never discussed philosophical questions in any of my classes, therefore I’ve never related those to my projects and homework.
- What is one thing that you found interesting from class on 2/1/18?
- I think the idea that the collection of people’s thoughts is culture is really interesting. It’s a nice and precise conclusion to me.
- In IS 2 (Sem or Studio have you dome any “spelunking” Did you do any “cave exploration” – for either IS class, or anything else that captured your attention this week?
- For Seminar, we were asked to take five photos of advertisements in NYC and to post them on Instagram. When I was trying to find ads, I realized that even though I always thought that I was surrounded by ads, it still took time for me to find them. There were not as many ads as I expected to be.
- What is one question you have from class on 2/1/18 class?
- Are we going to have more discussions related to philosophy in future classes?
- What is one noticing you made about the John Berger – Publicity essay?
- There are a lot of similarities between oil paintings – classical art and advertisements – modern pop art.
- What is one question you have from the reading/ about the reading?
- I noticed that the reading had a unique typesetting. Is there any special intention?
- What connections have you made between IS 2 (so far) class and any other class you are taking? (Referring to content – or structure.)
- I have some questions related to environmental issues for my inquiry, which is related to my Sustainable System class.
