The future I envisioned this object to work in is one where we humans have still not solved the problem of our polluted oceans. A lot of the time people don’t take action upon certain things until they see how then consequences can affect them directly. I thought of a box that was connected to server which analyzed all the trash thrown into the ocean and where it came from. Everyone would be obligated to where the box and every time something you irresponsibly either in the wrong trash bin or on the floor finds its way to the ocean you get an extremely loud notification about what you have done. This alert is difficult to be ignores by others making the user feel embarrassed and that effect would hopefully prevent them from doing that again. I have yet to decide the name of my first idea.
