Its hard to believe I’ve been coming to the city so long and not known about this fantastic museum!
I went on Saturday (booooo rain) with my boyfriend who was visiting for the weekend. We visited two exhibits: MAD Biennial (NYC Makers), and Multiple Exposures. Both were equally inspiring and interesting! Below are some pictures of some things I found most interesting.
Truly beautiful paint splatter canvas by Yoko Ono herself, and a matching video (not shown) to explain how she splatter the canvas with said paint.
Masks anyone?? Digital “jewelry” allows you to see false reality.
another sculpture with a “mask” like vibe
Okay this was seriously cool, a camera and software that would 3D you and the room around you and put it up on this giant screen.
Okay now some small snippets from “Multiple Exposures”. An exhibition regarding jewelry and photography!
thanks for reading!
