Oil painting done on canvas that represents a comedic take on the idea of 18th-century Baroque art dramatization and stylistic tenebrism. The work portrays a climactic moment of getting caught in an act of frivolity. I chose to include this piece as it represents my interest in oil painting and art historical narratives with its stylistic references to the Baroque period.
