Directions: For this assignment, choose a single day from the past, present, or the future to document using images and text. As a challenge, while you are permitted to use some ‘found’ images from the past, the majority of your images must be original (created specifically for this project)
Reflection: I wanted to focus my piece on my past relationship with my father, who passed when I was eleven years old. My work explores my journey and my path through the meeting and loss of my father. Much of the text within the work asks unanswered questions and thoughts of mine that losing a loved one abruptly causes. I wanted to explore this struggle of losing a parent in a way that expresses the journey and the paths that I faced then and now.
