My first question was “why is understanding human evolution a vital knowledge for the survival of our spices?”After walking through the Spitzer Hall of Human Origins I’ve come to realize that If we understand our past we can create a better future for our spices. Throughout the exhibit, the museum was organized in a way where everything was laid out chronologically. Starting with our animal family member, to Neandertholhes, Homoseapeans, and modern Humans. It helped give an all round understanding of how we came to be through research evidence from fossils dating back nearly 200,000 years ago. They used bones to compare how similar we are to other spices while also showing the different path our ancestors took during natural selection to improve their chances of survival during critical times of our need to evolve.
