Assignment #11: Scale Up Project

For this assignment we had to pick a small object, double or triple its size and recreate it using cardboard. For my object I chose to use a 2.5″ x 1″ bottle of foundation and made it life size. I took a picture of my object and on illustrator I enlarged its length up to seventeen inches tall and used the silhouette to create each side of my sculpture. I enjoyed this project because it taught me how to scale up my own ideas of structures, but it also made me become more comfortable when using cardboard to create a prototype.
