PROJECT #1 -phase One

For this phase of our first project, we had to research ourselves and the objects or subjects that make us who we are. We had to search symbols that represented our personalities and our identities to create a final piece that symbolizes each one of us individually, based on our culture or interests.

Personally, I really identify myself with my Venezuelan and latin culture. I love latin music and it’s something that continuously inspires me. I also love extravagant but classy fashion and I recently became very inspired by the Cuban fashion styles from the 50’s. The sketches represent bodies and a garment I want to create and turn into a hat.
