Assignment #10: Laser Cut Polyhedron

For this assignment, I had to create a polyhedron using the laser cutting machine. We also had to engrave it and assemble it using mechanical connectors. For my piece, I chose to create a diamond polyhedron of 10 planes using chipboard. I created curve-linear designs inspired by my favorite collage piece that I created and engraved it onto each plane. The mechanical connection I chose to use was envelope pins.
