I chose chopsticks as my material for this project. My peer is Claire, and she is a happy, kind and simple girl, and she loves watching different kinds of animation and playing computer games, and through her interview I find that she likes abstract objects better than a real object. Therefore, I decide to make a pyramid to represent her. The pyramid has a 3D structure, and it represents our real 3D world; but each side of a pyramid is a 2D surface that represents Claire’s favorite 2D world in her computer, and I will make each side a different pattern to show the diversification of her 2D world. The reason why I chose chopsticks as my material is that the color of wood is very simple and clear, and the chopsticks are also an essential tool in our daily life.
