Long Exposure
This assignment was challenging for me due to the fact that I’ve never done photography. I had trouble in the beginning trying to figure out camera settings, but luckily my friend (the subject of these photos) was understanding and let me take numerous tries and attempts.
My photo series show a progression of dance, first you get the materials, then you practice, and last you perform. My favorite photo is the last one, with the lights. I wanted to show movement still, but not get it confused with the High Speed photo, so I added lights.
I loved the way the lights turned out, and would like to see what would happen if I add lights to all the photos.
Overall, I had a fun time learning how to use my camera.
