Growing up in South Florida I was fortunate to have an education that exposed me to numerous art forms. The fine arts program at my middle and high school was excellent and I took a liking to the two-dimensional art projects. Drawing and painting are the two forms I am most attracted too.
Dance has also been a major part of my life and has had an effect on my visual art as well. I find that my art work has been inspired by dance due the fact that my drawings focuses on the human body and form. Both dance and drawing compliment one another, and are my personal ways to be creative and expressive.
I am excited to be learning and living in New York City, I can already see my art and creativity expanding and changing. I moved to the city in 2016 for college. At first I attended Lang Undecided, then applied to the BA/BFA program with Parsons. I am currently studying Illustration at Parsons and Media/Cultural Studies at Lang.
