While researching a targeted audience at home, I watched as my brother, who attends medical school, walk out the door in plain scrubs. I observed how the scrubs were both simple and undecorated, with an absence of a lot of pocket space. I also observed how his stethoscope loosely hung around his neck and his keys dangling from his pant pockets. I decided then that my targeted audience would be physicians. I wanted to create an accessory that would allow for doctors to have easy access to all the tools they required while still retaining a fashionable look. Inspired by one of the steps of creating an octahedron, I aim to create a belt bag that functions both around the waist and the shoulder. The bag would be in the shape of rectangle with its sides and ends tapering with a zipper on the top for easy access to the tools. Moreover in order to not get in the way of the physicians work, I want the bag to be sleek and ergonomic. Furthermore, while researching doctor apparel it is found that they often wear blue scrubs of varying shades, thus I would like the bag to be a complementary color to add a chic excitement to the outfit.
