I plan to approach this class in a studios, attentive, and organized manner. As someone who doesn’t consider drawing a strong suit, I want to pay careful attention to direction so I can complete assignments to the best of my ability, hopefully picking up some technical skills along the way.
I would like to improve my general understanding of design – design processes and design techniques – as well as improve my drawing skills and familiarity with a variety of mediums.
The class would best serve me by approaching subjects with a more general / novice lens. I feel as if I am amateur in the field of drawing and physical art making / pen and paper design. It would best serve me by teaching me fundamental, practical drawing techniques.
I hope that my college experience will serve my by equipping me an array of knowledge surrounding art and design as well as practical business and management techniques, equipping me with the skills to lead successful, creative business ventures.
I plan to engage the class by interacting and collaborating with my peers. I look forward to being exposed to wide array of perspectives from a individuals from different backgrounds and varying skillsets.
