We explored how different cultures have different eating habits, and how climate change has affected or might affect these preferences. We chose a dish important to our own culture to prepare and share with the class. I chose parathas, a savory food that is found all over India in different forms, specifically the aloo paratha. With our recipes chosen, we further researched the ingredients and all the energy that goes into making these dishes. Later, we analyzed the climate change in our chosen regions and how/if the ingredients we used are affected there. Based on this, we gave adaptation recommendations for replacing the affected ingredients in the recipe. Below is my slide deck detailing all of this information.
