A brief LP post about yourself in 20-30 years. Include a description of your career, with at least 1 major failure, and 1 major success (defined however you choose).
In 20 years, I would be working as an illustrator. During my life I have illustrated for companies, magazines, but have also written and illustrated children’s books.
During my career, I am given a chance to create my own animation, with a group of people who share the same view as I do, and are willing to help me turn my idea into a major film. There is pressure because there is an enormous amount of money invested in the creation of this animation. My team and I are confident about the story which I had created. After a long time, we finally finish the film, and the animation is now in theatres. The movie ends up as a huge failure. The story I had created did not appeal to the mass. I feel destroyed and sorry for my team for letting them down.
I decide to stop animation and start working on illustrating children’s books. Fortunately, creating books were not as expensive as creating animations, so there was more room for failure. A lot of my first books could not appeal to children, and they were not well known. But as I had kept failing, I started to gain more experience and knowledge on ways in which I could create illustrations and stories that would be loved by many. I finally succeed in making a book that become popular with children worldwide.
