Material Connexion is a company that leads the material innovation. They are located on Park Avenue 101 and they have an amazing archive of different materials that I have never seen in my life before. They have an amazing variety that can be adapted to many sites.
When we went there, the first thing that caught my attention was the workspace. Even though they have many options for materials, they did not apply them to the office space. The room was very modern, clean and simple. They used sculptures and paintings to add soul to this space. The golden dinosaur created a unique office floor that caught my attention right away. The office spaces that were placed in the center of the room were full glass so you could see the material archive behind them. The way they used glass as walls was the reason why the archive dragged my attention.
Moving to the archive, it was almost like a library with covers I have never seen before. The wide range made me excited and curious. What caught my attention first was reflections and color. After that, I went to the textured ones and then I moved to the ones with layers. It was amazing to see all of these options and how unlimited they were.
