Polymer
•This is a high reflective panel that contains cuts within itself.
•The sheet inside this polymer is placed for reflections and the film
that is attached to the back side is there for color.
•The back film can be replaced with different colors to create a
different value of reflectivity. It can be used as a divider wall.
•There are also examples of this material as art pieces. Images can be
printed on this material to create an art piece that has a reflective and
transparent quality.
Example:
Korean Reflection Wall (Walk of The Town)
Washington DC
Glass
•It is called “transparent laminated glass”.
•This a material that is 60% glass, 30% aluminum scrap shaving and
10% laminated film.
•Aluminium is draped between laminated glass.
•The amount of aluminum can be changed due to the request of the
costumer. {Less aluminum = more transparency}
•Can be used as walls, ceilings, flooring
•It can be used on this staircase between the glass steps
Cement
•It is called: “glass fiber reinforced concrete panel”
•Made from: (high tensile) glass fiber, (high compressive
strength)cement, polymer and a large quantity of sand
•The reason why this specific type cement and glass fiber was used is
because to create design flexibility.
