The window and wall to see out in the street. It seems as if there are two different perspectives to this. The wall represents being closed off and being confined in your own space, where as the window provides a whole new perspective. However the window only provides a limited view, hence you are able to see what you get, nothing more and nothing less. Once you keep looking at the same thing, over and over again, you start noticing the small things.
Upon returning, everything seems extremely different, but certain things were getting triggered going back to the book. This something that would be similar to the way we did our research for the location that we had, while going to the place itself, you are able to recognize the different aspects of it and see how the location has changed over time. It was an interesting documentary, the use of Cohen’s method was very interesting, he worked alone and used the archival footage. Working alone, helps you take your own time to learn different things and maybe you start to notice things that you never would before.
