These are my notes for the bridge project 3 idea. Since we have to put in something of our own creation into the book, I thought I could relate, the writing in my book to what I add into the pictures. Each of my writings is a scene that takes place in a location in Jackson Heights. Hence I thought I could create one point perspective drawing of each location so that the reader is easily able to identify and picture what they are viewing. I also wanted to make a map for Jackson Heights all together identifying all the places that are talked about in the book.
While writing down my ideas, I had another idea of somehow trying to combine the sounds that we recorded for each location in Jackson Heights and incorporate that into the book. I understand that the sound wont be recorded, however when each location is mentioned or has a writing dedicated to that place, it would be interesting to add the sound waves as a watermark or design on the page as well, or somehow create a barcode that the readers can scan and listen to while reading about the place to make them feel as if they are right there. It would interesting to see how the readers would engage with that idea, how it would add any significance to the final book.
