Reflection:

The fourth bridge project saw the culmination of the past three bridges. In a sense, it was the product of all the work that we’d done over the semester. This project allowed me to see just how extensive background work and preparation a single design solution requires and how there are several mini projects that come to support a larger one. The final intervention taught me how every design problem is unique and how it’s the responsibility to do it justice by investigating it in every way possible, and to develop up holistically keeping all facets of it in mind – from immediate users, to its long stretched environmental implications. Furthermore, this project honed my 3 dimensional modelling skills, and taught me how to use every material differently.
