·Watch the documentary about Diana Vreeland.
Wow. What a personality?! Crazy or Genius? Both or neither?
What do you think? It seems she’s at least right half the time, so maybe not completely crazy?
Choose a moment in the film when you thought she went too far. Write 100-150 words about why you chose that scene and also post a screengrab from it.

Diana Vreeland had a fierce fashion vision and always walked at the forefront of fashion. I think she is a genius. When I watched the documentary, I found that the models she designed in it still look out of date. What amazes me most is that at that time, she was already letting nude models appear in magazines. I admire her for the modeling of memory points. For example, she encouraged models with long necks to show their long necks, and Lauren Hutton with gap-teeth to show her gap-teeth. “She was the best in America,” said Diana Freeland of Lauren’s gouged teeth. “She was the one everyone wanted to watch all the time. ”The nude model is an innovative move on this basis. We can’t be sure whether this would have elicited admiration or outrage, but she did it and helped promote the development of modeling. Everything she did was so crazy, but it makes you feel like the fashion industry wouldn’t be the way it is if nobody was so crazy. She may have gone too far, but she shaped the fashion that appeared.
