The circle line boat took us on a tour of the manhattan coastline. The main issues that were highlighted were:
- Lack of coastal protection
- Improper sewage system which leave the river vulnerable to contamination
- The waste storage is not sustainable
- More structures need to be built along the coastline that also work as coastal protection
