My Immediate Experience Project will center around a walk in Astor Place. From my original outline, my concept has changed entirely and now focuses on a futuristic female character from the upper class in an even more dense New York City. Through narration clips, on-location and possibly offsite videos, she will show the viewer around the Astor Place Square.
I still sense a connection to your original proposal. What’s changed is the subject through which you will convey an emotion. It brings to mind the Fritz Lang film, Metropolis and the music recordings of Janelle Monae, which the film inspired.
I’m a little unclear about the sequencing of the images in this post and, within each image, which one represents the immediate experience and which the mediated experience. You have the images numbered, but they are not displaying in that sequence.
