Zach Layton receives Foundation for Contemporary Arts Award

Contemporary music faculty member, Zach Layton, receives prestigious FCA award.

The foundation was created by Jasper Johns, John Cage and Robert Rauschenberg in 1961 as a way to fund the efforts of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. Subsequently it has awarded hundreds of artists, composers, writers and choreographers including Phillip Glass, Susan Sontag, Meredith Monk, David Tudor and Trisha Brown.
