Lang Alum Mickey Theis appears on the front page of the NY Times Arts Section

Mickey Theis (Liberal Arts, ’09) is featured in a a New York Times Theater review for “Desire,” six plays that second-guess Tennessee Williams.

A Theater & Philosophy major, Mickey decided late in his Lang career that he wanted to explore theater and played some wonderful but minor roles his senior work production of Wilde’s ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’. He graduated and went on a very successful year 1/2 road trip with his band, came back to NY and decided he didn’t want a life on the road but wanted to act. He worked with Cecilia Rubino onĀ auditions and got into the Acting Program at Yale Drama School. He graduated from that program a year ago and his career has been going very well since then.
