Elana Greenfield, Part Time Assistant Professor of Theater at The New School, has been granted a year-long artist fellowship at LABA to study ancient Jewish text. During the fellowship, as part of a group of 7 writers, visual artists, dancers and culture makers she will be creating work inspired by this theme which will be workshopped at LABAlive events at the 14th Street Y.  Every year LABA focuses its study around a theme. Previous themes include Paradise, Eros, Blueprint, Time and Beauty.
