Rachel Heiman, Associate Professor of Anthropology & Chair of the Urban Studies Program, has received a 2018 American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Fellowship. The Award supports scholars for six to twelve months of full-time research and writing. Heiman will spend the 2018-2019 Academic Year writing the manuscript for her book project, Retrofitting the American Dream: An Ethnography of Suburban Redesign.
