Rachel Sherman, Associate Professor of Sociology, was named a 2018 Andrew Carnegie Fellow. She is the first-ever faculty member from The New School to receive the honor. One of 31 “extraordinary scholars and writers” awarded the prestigious fellowship, the award will allow her to devote time to “significant research, writing, and publishing in the humanities and social sciences.”
