Space and Materiality Assignment # 5 -3D paper Polyhedrons

Assignment Description

This assignment asks us to create 3D polyhedrons using 5 solid platonic templates.

I cut out the paper templates and folded the sides to form the shape.

Then I used tape and attached the folds from the inside to secure the solids and hide the tape marks.

Reflection

This assignment helped me understand more about shape and volume of 3D objects and the Platonic solids overall. The way you view objects from certain angles show different perspectives of the same shapes.
